29/52 The 52 Project

So I’ve just discovered The 52 Project by Practising Simplicity and absolutely love the concept and hopefully the acheiveability, so I’m starting mid-year but I don’t care and I’ll undoubtedly miss a few. But here goes…

We recently headed North for a family road trip, so here a few holiday snaps.

We visited my parents, who have a few chooks. Egg collecting is always a hit

We had a fun day riding the toboggan at the big banana, and strolling along the Coffs Harbour jetty.

And Stella turned one this week.

lambess fam | Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and the Hunter Valley family photographer

after months of planning we managed to coordinate a date for the lovely lambess family, we had a dream location at the hunter valley which of course was unavailable on the day. so we drove around looking for the perfect spot and found it just as the sun was setting, magic.

i had such a fantastic afternoon, i didn’t want to put the camera down, so many fab shots was hard to pick a few to share.
little winnie was such a trooper for the afternoon, despite the multiple outfit changes, warm weather, numerous bugs, long grass.

isn’t she stunning.

no 4. cubby lane, funville | hannah grace photography

i recently posted what i get up to when i’m not taking photos, here is another project just completed ¬†for my daughters 4th birthday last month.

a ‘little’ house renovation, we bought a secondhand cubby house online (it was originally a target one) and decked it out. i’m super pleased with how it turned out, it was worth the hours of painting in the shed at night, inhaling toxic paint fumes!

my fave parts….. the window box, the mailbox, the little green cupboard (bought off gumtree, nearlly didn’t get it as it was so ugly, but it came up awesome), the wall canvas (from the reject shop), how happy p was when she saw it and the hours of amusement it has already provided.

the stackhouse fam | Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and the Hunter family photographer

thankfully this is one of the most gorgeous families around, as the weather was not providing much for this mini session. miserable and rainy we were confined to a very small little shelter .

these three blue eyed beauties certainly weren’t camera shy and are full of personality and spunk. love it, we had such a fun time playing in the rain.¬†we also ended up with one soggy doggy after he fell into the lake ūüėČ

gorgeous mumma nat has been busy organising the¬†hunter walk 4 freedom, and i’m sure these little warrior princesses will be following in her world changing footsteps

tan fam | Lake Macquarie, Newcastle + the Hunter family photographer

it had been a cloudy miserable day and i was hoping the weather would hold out for this little fam’s photo session, but instead it bucketed down as soon as we arrived! so we tried to make the most of the gloomy weather, as mum was super organised and had everyone looking fabulous plus with a shift working dad it was hard to find ¬†another time before chrissy. but i think we managed to score a few great shots of these cuties
